Thank you for visiting my profile. I’m Ross Kellogg, M.S., LMFT, a Licensed Individual, Marriage, and Family Therapist.
Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist in Los Angeles, CA
The disconnect in your relationship might feel insurmountable right now, but you can regain the love and closeness you and your partner have had in the past. You can finally feel seen, heard, and understood again. You can improve your intimacy. And I can help you get there. Using an Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy approach integrated with the Gottman Method, I help couples improve communication, move on from infidelity, and establish greater trust and intimacy.
I have experience working with male survivors of childhood sexual abuse and the confusing consequences of this unique type of abuse. Often, male survivors of sexual abuse struggle with intimacy, relationships, perfectionism, codependency, identity, dissociation, self sabotage, and overall boundary complications across different relationships. I can support you in the process of developing a treatment plan and following through to address your individual concerns step by step.
Codependency is a learned pattern of behavior that starts in childhood but often becomes no longer helpful or even harmful in adulthood. Common codependent behaviors include denying one's thoughts or feelings; giving too much of one's time, energy, or money; being too identified as a caretaker or giver in relationships, and a culminating exhaustion and fatigue. I can work with you to address each of these life-restricting symptoms and learn how to get your life back.
Nearly 10 years of clinical experience and advanced training in Emotionally Focused Therapy.
Nearly 10 years of clinical experience using the Internal Family Systems approach.
I focus my individual clinical work on treating attachment trauma such as narcissistic abuse, adult survivors of childhood emotional and/or sexual abuse, and Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (also known as developmental trauma). I care deeply about supporting clients in understanding and recovering from these types of trauma because of their destructive effects on an individual's ability to enjoy life. Therapy can help you find balance and develop a healthy sense of self.
