About My Clients
You know what it's like to feel stuck or worried, whether it's supporting your gender diverse kid or figuring out your own path. I get it—I've been there too. It can feel really isolating, like not enough people really get you and what's going on. But here’s what I know-- it gets better. I'll work with you to navigate these challenges, whether it’s building confidence, exploring identity, or just finding some calm in all the chaos.
My Background and Approach
Therapy is an adventure—one where we dive into your experiences with curiosity and compassion. My approach is all about giving you space to explore your world in a way that feels authentic and empowering. Using a mix of somatic, narrative, and Gestalt therapies, I help you connect to your body, rewrite the stories you tell yourself, and stay grounded in the present. I also bring in creative, playful techniques like role-playing games and expressive arts because liberating therapy should be fun while being tailored to your unique needs. With 16+ years of experience as a therapist supporting LGBTQ+ folks, neurodiverse individuals, and those exploring their gender identity, my goal is to help you navigate life with confidence. I believe therapy is about more than solving problems—it’s about discovering your power, embracing joy, and finding new paths forward. Wherever you are on your journey, I’m here to support and guide you as we explore together.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that good therapy is political—it’s about reclaiming power, not just for ourselves but within the context of a world that often marginalizes and misunderstands us. That’s why I focus on therapy that places you and your community at the center of your healing journey. Using approaches like Gestalt, narrative, and somatic therapies, I keep you in control, helping you rewrite harmful narratives and navigate the world as your most empowered self. Creativity is key too—through role-playing games and other tools, we explore how healing extends to relationships and community. In my free time, I’m working on launching a non-profit to support families of elementary-aged gender diverse kids—an underserved population I’m passionate about helping. This aligns with my belief that therapy and community go hand in hand. Whether in individual work or broader family and social systems, I’m committed to creating spaces where true liberation and healing are possible.
