About My Clients
Over the course of his career, Ryan has worked with a wide range of individuals struggling with various mental health issues, including severe and persistent mental illness, co-occurring substance use disorders, and anxiety and depression. Other populations that Ryan has served includes families, couples, adolescents, and children, as well as providing therapy in group settings.
My Background and Approach
Ryan uses an eclectic model to guide his treatment approach. He works to individualize treatment to best meet the needs of each of his clients. Ryan prefers to walk alongside individuals, rather than push from behind or pull from in-front. It is his goal to meet you where you are and come alongside you to help make the changes you want to make. Ryan utilizes a person-centered approach, while also pulling techniques and strategies from systems theory, existential therapy, and attachment theory, as well as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), emotion focused therapy (EFT), and motivational interviewing (MI).
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe many of the problems we face are a few small, simple steps away from becoming manageable again. Let me help you find the path.
