About My Clients

My Background and Approach
Think of the life you desire. What are some of the essential needs in service of your mind, body, or spirit to connect to that life? Let's explore together. My therapeutic approach includes attachment and holistic styles. We'll start off our sessions together with a mindfulness exercise to ground ourselves, bring calmness into the room, and invite space for clarity. During individual sessions, we'll explore a variety of questions to get a clear sense of your needs, beliefs, triggers, and more, which will guide us in our work together. During family and couples sessions, we will dig deep to explore beliefs, upbringing, roles, expectations, differences in cultures/religions, and what brings you emotional connection. Individuals, couples and families will gain insight and experience growth in therapy with me.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
During my childhood I was exposed to the Russian, English, Hindi, Pashto, Dari, and Armenian languages. My childhood experiences with the teachings of Christianity and Islam as well as the Afghan and Armenian cultures have given me the tools to understand and admire a variety of religions and cultures.
