About My Clients
I work with various populations such as individuals, children, families, and couples.
My Background and Approach
I graduated from Antioch University with a Masters’s in Clinical Psychology in 2020. I have been in the mental health field since 2013 working with various nonprofits including facilitating grief groups at Our House Grief Support Center in 2016-2018. Pre graduate school I've worked with kids age 5-18. Since graduate school, I’ve been practicing Narrative Therapy at Miracle Mile Community Practice for two years. I consider my work a relational experience. Addressing the dynamics of power, privilege, and injustice is an integral part of the healing process and I am committed to being an advocate. My primary foundation is Narrative therapy but I also incorporate mindfulness, attachment, and somatic lenses. I have a passion for working with diverse populations and helping individuals rewrite their life stories for a future that better reflects who they are.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe problems are not created in a vacuum. The world we live in shapes us in many ways. I have a post-modern approach to therapy. I step away from pathologizing and look into values. I also live by a "do no harm" moto. It is my duty to make sure to put the client's needs first. I am an LGBTQ affirming therapist.
