About My Clients
Each of my clients is wholly unique, and we often bring that into our work together. My clients are ready to do the work. They're curious about their lives, their experiences, their beliefs, and the show up, they dig deep, and they bring about a sense of curiosity to this exploration. Whether they are struggling with anxiety, life transitions, addiction, or spirituality, I create a safe space for them to process and heal.
My Background and Approach
Therapy with me is gentle, honest, connected, and safe. My clients often find that therapy doesn't have to be scary or serious - it can have a rainbow of emotions. We often balance the heavy sessions with moments of lightheartedness, laughter, and love. My master’s program at Naropa University focused on mindfulness-based transpersonal counseling, which I infuse into my teachings and my client work. I am an integrative therapist, bringing a blend of body-oriented (somatic) & client-centered approaches that include positive psychology, parts work, gestalt, and acceptance and commitment therapy. I bring over a decade of combined academic & professional experience to my work. I have led workshops, classes, 1:1 coaching, and retreats both locally & abroad. I create an open space for you to dig deeper into Self and utilize various practices that help you cultivate whole-person wellness.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe choice is a fundamental right & support women's right to choose. I support Black Lives Matter & work to balance inequities in our society on a personal & systemic level. I support the LGBTQIA+ community & continue to stay current on education, resources, and policy. I believe that part of my job as a therapist is to not only help my clients individually to thrive, but to advocate for their ability to do so on a community, public, and systemic level.
