Are you always a little bit afraid that your anxiety will show up at the worst time? I know the feeling! Anxiety can be scary, even when it shows up when you are leaving the house, meeting a friend, or ordering food. Everyday tasks don’t seem that easy with anxiety around. I want to help turn the volume down on your anxiety so that even the simplest asks will become easier. I like to use a combination of CBT, ERP, and Mindfulness to help reduce anxiety.
My Background and Approach
I like to incorporate tools in my practice so that you have something concrete to work with. My goal is for your to have anxiety-reducing tools and techniques to use anytime and anywhere. For the past 2 years, my practice has been focused on helping people manage anxiety. I have trained with some of the top anxiety specialists in the field. We will work collaboratively to address the anxiety. You'll gain resilience so that the anxiety doesn’t take over you.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that you have the resilience within you. I like to encourage others to be the best version of themselves. It is possible to replace negative, unhealthy thoughts and behaviors with healthy ones. Growing up, I definitely had anxiety, but back then we did not have a label for it. When I finally realized what this feeling was I began therapy. It changed my life when I learned different tools to manage my anxiety. I want to provide you with the same techniques I learned (and more) to help you live your best life.
