About My Clients
Are you an immigrant or a first-generation American navigating the intricate intersection of culture, religion, and identity? I am a first generation Muslim American. Albanian is my first language, and I am happy to work with clients in Albanian. English is my second language. I have tackled my own issues around identity with religion and the western world, and continue to do so as I navigate my own intersectionality.
My Background and Approach
I specialize in working with immigrants and first-generation Americans and am passionate about helping individuals like you flourish in your journey towards self-discovery. I have experiences that help me understand that the intersectionality of culture and religion can come with strengths and uncertainty. Through compassion, understanding, and building trust, I can help guide you through the unique challenges and joys of this experience.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am passionate about working with clients in all of their intersecting identities. I have been a lifelong advocate for people with marginalized identities. I identify as a feminist, liberal, anti-racist, and neurodivergent-affirming. I acknowledge the systems of oppression in society that affect my clients deeply, such as capitalism, racism, patriarchy, and social binaries. I am culturally humble as I approach each client, exploring their own complex identity.
