About My Clients
Emotions are intense. They are tough. They’re painful. Whether you find your feelings to be too big or too small, I’m here to help you develop a healthier relationship with your emotions. And through this, a better understanding of yourself and what really matters to you. I specialize in teaching people coping strategies for managing emotions. I work with individuals and their families to cope with anxiety, depression, emotion dysregulation, personality disorders, self-harm, and trauma.
My Background and Approach
I provide CBT, DBT-, mindfulness, self-compassion, and ACT-informed therapy. I also offer CPT to help you understand traumatic experiences without needing to re-experience them in session. We'll go at your pace, whether you need time to process aloud or receive feedback. I am ready to teach you a wealth of coping skills to help you develop a healthier relationship with emotions, thoughts, and behavior. I sometimes assign homework assignments to help you implement new practices and move forward.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My role is first to hear you and then to teach you. I'm here to guide you on a journey in which you discover your values and take meaningful steps toward the future. I will tap into the strengths and abilities you already have within, while teaching you new strategies for a more fulfilling life.
