Are you looking for more than talk therapy? I use a holistic approach combining art therapy, mindfulness, and talk therapy to help persons with anxiety, depression, challenging relationships, trouble at work, trauma, grief, and loss. I love working with children, teens, and adults. I specialize in working with persons from diverse cultures — specifically from Indian and other South Asian communities.
My Background and Approach
Seeking help takes strength and courage. For many, art provides a powerful mode of expression and insight when it comes to emotions and experiences that are difficult to identify and verbalize. As an art therapist, I provide a comfortable and non-judgmental space in which I guide my clients through hands-on creation and verbal discussion. I use a collaborative, creative, and mindful approach to help adults and children achieve greater self-awareness and learn effective coping skills. I’m also certified in Mindful Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and often incorporate mindfulness and meditation into my treatment approach.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I offer individual and couples art therapy in an inviting, relaxed, and private studio space and online. No prior art or meditation experience is required. I believe each client requires a unique treatment approach, and I am committed to working with each one to find the best process for healing and growth.
