About My Clients
I work with adults seeking therapy for grief, trauma, chronic pain, anxiety, and depression. I have expertise in areas of suicide loss, chronic migraines, and medical trauma. I am able to see residents of PA and 39 other states via telehealth through PsyPact using a secure, HIPAA-complaint video conferencing platform.
My Background and Approach
I approach therapy with the understanding that many of our symptoms and struggles are normal human attempts to manage pain, loss, anxiety, and even difficult or overwhelming emotions. My ultimate goal is that our work together will allow you to claim or reclaim a life that feels meaningful and fulfilling to you. We will collaborate together to address therapy goals that feel right for you in the context of your personal history and identity using evidence-based interventions. We will primarily use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to build coping skills and help transform your relationship with symptoms and struggles arising from grief, trauma, chronic pain, anxiety, and/or depression in a safe and supportive space. When appropriate, we can use EMDR to help heal and resolve the impacts of trauma. I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in Pennsylvania (#PS019683).
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that therapy is most effective when you commit to tangible behavior changes in addition to exploring the concerns bringing you to therapy via talk therapy. I strive to provide a safe inclusive space for us to talk openly and authentically so you feel supported as you process difficult life experiences, better understand yourself, and make meaningful life changes.
