Psychotherapy can assist you in developing a positive self-image, heal old relationship wounds, and cultivate fulfilling relationships with yourself and others.
My Background and Approach
In my practice I offer clinical insight, tools and space to deeply understand and change generational, relational or behavioral patterns that contribute to problems in your life. I work with adults and adolescents who experience a range of challenges including eating disorders, relationship problems, mood disorders, trauma, depression, and anxiety. Therapeutic approaches that I utilize in therapy include: cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, somatic therapy, mindfulness practices, and trauma processing techniques. My approach to therapy is collaborative, warm, and relational. I hold 6 years of experience working with adolescents and adults in eating disorder recovery and 3 years working with adults who experience a range of mental health challenges and life experiences in a community mental health setting.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My interests and educational pursuits in eating disorder recovery, social justice, mindfulness approaches and neurobiology drive my passion for this work. I am LGBTQI+ allied, Black Lives Matters allied, and take a community oriented approach to therapy.
