About My Clients
I enjoy working with clients who may feel something is missing in their life, they don’t feel satisfied with where they are at, may feel overwhelmed or stressed, etc. Low self-esteem, anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, conflict, significant life stressors and much more can easily deter us from our goals in life and it takes some work to get us back on track. I believe in self-empowerment and a more holistic approach to overall well-being.
My Background and Approach
I have been an LCSW psychotherapist since 2016. It is my mission to guide, support, assist and provide a safe environment for you and your loved ones to increase your skills to live your best life. My approach is to have you explore the barriers in your life and identify in a collaborative approach, ways to overcome them. If you want a therapist who focuses more on reaching goals, self-empowerment and self-worth, I may be a good fit for you. I find myself using mindfulness, Internal Family Systems, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Every client is different and as a clinician, I pride myself in tailoring each session and treatment plan around each individual. I do gravitate toward interventions more focused on gaining insight into our own internal system and using tools such as self reflection and leaning into discomfort to reach goals.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that we as individuals have so many expectations, commitments, duties, etc. Therapy is a place for us to quiet the 'noise' in our day to day lives and fully focus on ourselves. It's a time that allows us to look inward, reflect, assess, and dig deep to identify what it is we need in order to feel fulfilled. In our current culture, there is so much 'noise' and we are often looking out rather than in. I believe looking in is what we need to prioritize in order to succeed outwardly and that's the objective I hold as a clinician.
