About My Clients
I have experience in working in Community Based settings and I have a passion for working with children and adolescents who struggle with a history of trauma and life struggles while helping them learn the necessary coping skills to better navigate life’s difficult transitions.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Marriage Family Therapist (LMFT) at Foresight. I received my Master’s Degree in Counseling and a Certificate in Chemical Dependency at College of Notre Dame in Belmont, California. My area of specialty includes PTSD, depression, anxiety, family issues, stress management, and drug / alcohol issues. I approach therapy with a solution focused, holistic, client-centered perspective: focusing on empathy, genuineness, and unconditional positive regard. I have experience in working with adolescents, children, adults, and families using interventions from cognitive behavioral therapy, strength-based approaches, Trauma-Focused cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness practices, and motivational interviewing.
