I have spent 20 years in the mental health field working in some capacity or another around mental wellness education and substance. I offer Solution Focused Counseling and incorporate other practices and skills, such as ecotherapy, coaching, coping skills, self-care, mindfulness and emotional regulation for individuals experiencing "stressed and overwhelmed" feelings, that is creating anxiety and depression.
My style is very conversational, direct, warm, supportive, and a guiding collaborative relationship. You will hear the use of metaphors and we will have lots of laughs. As a Heart Centered Counselor, I am passionate about cultivating personal awareness and connection with self, others, and the environment to improve both mental well-being and physical health.
