About My Clients
I specialize in helping those with trauma, cycle breaking, anxiety, life transitions, depression, stress, relationship issues, finding purpose, and perinatal mental health. My passion is to help you get "unstuck" from your past and help you shatter toxic cycles from continuing to impact your life. My approach combines traditional talk therapy with body-based and creative approaches to help you heal in a more holistic way. In the therapy room, you can expect to explore, create, and heal.
My Background and Approach
I understand that sometimes words are not enough to capture the true essence of your pain, triumphs, and everything in between. This is because mental health not only takes toll on your mind and your body as well. Which is why I use a more holistic approach to therapy- because I believe that all parts of you matter. Informed by Somatic Experiencing and as a trained Art Therapist, I draw on warmth, creativity and compassionate curiosity to help clients to explore themselves. My approach is for those of you who are tired of talk therapy or burnt out by rehashing the same things every week. Through your journey, I will walk alongside you while you find the courage to honor all the beautiful parts that make you whole. I believe this is how you get "unstuck" and challenge yourself to move towards tangible change. Read more about me in Forbes Health here: https://www.forbes.com/health/mind/art-therapy/
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My passion is giving you space to feel like your voice is heard. Many that walk into my office feel alone in their struggles, causing them to hold shame and silence them from sharing their story. But this silencing is what often acts against your healing and can keep you feeling stuck. As a therapist and fellow human, I understand how frustrating it feels to be trapped in the same cycles day in and day out. Which is why my role in breaking those cycles is to create a loving space for you to exhale your truth. My priority as a therapist is for you to feel safe enough to express your most authentic self so that you can blossom. I also believe that humor and joy are essential parts of healing and building resilience. Which is why you can expect to process the hard parts of life, while still honoring the joy and nuance that has to offer as well.
