My goal for all of my clients to work towards their ideals for their life
Mental Health Counselor in New York, NY
Supervised by Morgan Dominguez LMHC
I specialize in working with clients who struggle with suicidal thoughts. I create a safe space to find methods to cope with these thoughts, identify triggers for these thoughts, and find your reason for living. In addition, I also specialize in working with friends/family who are suicide loss survivors.
I specialize in clients diagnosed with personality disorders. I will support you in working towards your ideal life, managing symptoms, and understanding the diagnosis.
I specialize in working with teens/emerging adults. The transition into adulthood can be challenging and filled with stress. I work teenagers and emerging adults to process this transition, develop coping methods, and challenge the unique stressors during this life period.
My main training has been in DBT in group and individual settings. I work with clients to learn the DBT skills as well as adapt them to their life.
My approach to couple's counseling is an eclectic approach, utilizing CBT, DBT, positive psychology, Gottman, and feminist theory. With this approach, I focus on the couple's wants and needs within the space and adapt the styles of therapy to their specific issues.
My approach with feminist theory is primarily focused on understanding how the client's identities influence their experience in the world as well as within the therapeutic space.
