Life is hectic and filled with twists and turns. Having someone outside of your circle to talk to and bounce ideas off of is such a useful tool that can encourage and lead you to growth in areas that you've been wanting to achieve. My Background and Approach
I have been in the mental health field for over five years. I have worked in an array of environments, such as an inpatient drug and alcohol rehab facility, and community services, such as crisis intervention and intensive outpatient. I have worked with really cool human beings from the ages of 4 to 85. From working with so many individuals, I value my ability to tailor each session to the needs of the individual I meet. My approach centers on building a trusting relationship where you feel comfortable exploring your thoughts and emotions. I believe in providing a compassionate, nonjudgmental space that supports your healing and growth journey. Whether you’re facing anxiety, depression, or life transitions, I’m here to journey with you to help you achieve your goals.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe everything can be tied back to some event in your life. I believe that people can change and have the willpower to implement new habits, thinking patterns, and practices. I think the main reason going to therapy is so difficult is the aspect of vulnerability. The really beautiful thing is, I am human too. I have struggled with chronic illness that has lead to horrible bouts of depression and feelings of anxiety that I have had to work through over the years. Through my own therapy journey, I was able to learn skills and tools to better handle my big feelings I was having. I want you to feel that relief when you can take a full deep breath and not walk in fear.
