About My Clients

Many emerging adults struggle during the transition from adolescence to adulthood. They spend their days feeling anxious and unfulfilled, falling back on patterns that no longer work for them. If you're struggling with depression, anxiety, identity development or unresolved trauma, there is a path forward. You might feel like you keep trying to make changes in your life, and maybe things will go well for a while, but nothing sticks. You're motivated to change, you just need some extra guidance.

My Background and Approach

Navigating young adulthood while healing from trauma can be a complex journey. I am here as an advocate for your growth. Together, we'll set realistic goals, celebrate victories, and build a roadmap towards a hopeful future. My work with clients at the partial hospitalization (PHP) and intensive outpatient (IOP) levels of care has given me experience with clients who have a variety of different mental health concerns. I believe in a holistic approach to healing, recognizing that trauma affects mind, body, and spirit. Our sessions will integrate evidence-based therapeutic techniques, mindfulness practices, and self-care strategies tailored to your unique needs. I primarily work with clients using EMDR. I also use experiential methods, including meditation, walk-and-talk therapy, games, and art, and I incorporate DBT coping skills.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

My core values as a therapist are creativity and play, integrity and fidelity, and joy and sustainability. Play encourages exploration, experimentation, and the pursuit of new experiences free from the constraints of judgment. Creativity invites self-expression and empowers us to think beyond conventional boundaries. I uphold principles of honesty and transparency as foundational pillars of my work. Fidelity fosters trust, respect, and unwavering commitment to our clients. Joy serves as a bridge, connecting us with others and anchoring us fully in the present moment. It also contributes significantly to the cultivation of resilience amidst life's challenges. With a focus on human-centered care, I endeavor to effect lasting, sustainable changes for my clients.
