We also offer psychological testing as well as a variety of integrative healthcare services, including medication management, massage therapy, yoga, meditation, and reiki.
My Background and Approach
The name Simply Mindful Counseling was chosen because we believe that simple and mindful change is what allows a person to determine their truth, to find their meaning, and to create change to live a happier, more fulfilled life. If you approach life as a journey where you take just one thoughtful step at a time, it will be more manageable. Therapy is a healing process that takes time and necessitates participation and investment from the patient and provider alike. It is essential to understand that therapy is not a magic pill or a simple fix. Making mindful changes to self-defeating behavior, challenging negative narratives and learning how to cope with difficult feelings opens you up to life-altering results. The hardest part is making the decision to embark on the therapeutic journey.
