My Background and Approach

I am licensed in Alabama with 9 years of professional work experience . I have experience in helping clients with severe mental illness, stress and anxiety, parenting issues, motivation, self esteem, and confidence, & depression. I work with virtually any age group, with individuals, couples, or families. Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage. I am here to support you in that process. I specialize in cognitive therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, person-centered therapy, existential therapy, reality therapy, existential therapy, adlerian therapy, and gestalt therapy.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe in a quote from Friedrich Nietzsche: "He who has a why to live for can bear with almost any how." I believe that the client has the means necessary to discover his personal healing. He only needs the guidance of the therapist to discover that means. I believe that "mankind is good. there are only misguided individuals." I believe every client needs a higher power but I don't suppose to tell a client what a higher power means only letting them discover that for themselves.
