About My Clients
Steph approaches all clients with sensitivity, humility, and honesty. Since she has worked in a variety of non-profit settings, her practice aims to increase skills in communication, community, and connection with individuals, couples, or families. She is highly engaged & relational in her work, aiming to create a safe space to manage conflict, decrease unwanted feelings/behaviors, or coach families to positively engage with their children through Parent coaching & Couples counseling.
My Background and Approach
Since Steph has worked in a variety of clinical settings in the San Francisco Bay Area since 2011 (such as non-profit community organizations serving marginalized and underserved populations, outpatient clinics to serve SPMI populations including homelessness, medication management, case management, as well as school based counseling through various funding sources in OUSD & BUSD), her practice emphasizes communication, community, and connection. She believes in the "underdogs" of society and provides therapy as a type of personal training, where meaningful feedback and support helps individuals, families, and couples reach their fullest potential. Specialties include but are not limited to members of the Queer community (all LGBTQIA), structured assessment and coaching for Parents and Families to increase family dynamics/functioning, and Couples Counseling to accurately identify the specific problems and strengths in the dynamics of a couple’s relationship and reach desired goals.

Well versed in BIPOC, LBGTQIA, Suicide Prevention and Self Harming Behaviors. Values include but are not limited to: inclusion, gender and sexuality affirming care, sex positivity, body positivity, various types of relationships, trauma informed care, child abuse prevention.
