About My Clients
I work with trauma survivors and those struggling with anxiety, depression, PTSD or OCD. Many of my clients identify as neurodivergent, highly sensitive, queer or otherwise outside the box. :)
My Background and Approach
My primary approach is somatic and relational; which means that the main ingredients that make the therapy work are the relationship between us and what's showing up in your body moment to moment. Some specific modalities that we may use in this process are EMDR; ego-state/parts work such as Internal Family Systems; mindfulness and visualization; and practices informed by Polyvegal Theory and Interpersonal Neurobiology.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I welcome people of all identities to my practice and aim to be inclusive and affirming of diversity (diversity of gender, sexuality, ability, neurotype, race, body size and so on). Together we will create space to explore not just your personal experiences and identity, but how intergenerational traumas and marginalization may have contributed to both the wounds and resilience that you carry.
