I assist individuals to decrease symptoms of anxiety and depression, communicate more effectively, and disrupt negative relational patterns. I help couples move towards deeper love and intimacy in their relationship by building on existing strengths. I am also working towards AASECT certification as a sex therapist, and I integrate sex and sexuality into my therapy with couples and individuals.
My Background and Approach
I have experience working with clients facing a range of challenges, including depression, anxiety, grief, and relationship difficulties. I use an attachment-focused perspective and employ mindfulness, deep empathy, and a sense of humor in my work. I help my clients experience a different way of relating that leads to healing and change.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Facing life’s challenges is made easier in the context of loving and supportive relationships. As a psychotherapist, I create a nurturing relationship that helps my clients navigate difficult life circumstances and cope with intense emotions. I welcome the opportunity to work cross-culturally, and I strive to approach cultural differences with humility.
