I like to assign homework or worksheets at the end of each session so that progress continues between sessions. OCD and anxiety are my areas of specialties as well as couples counseling including poly relationships. I am LGBTQ affirming. I take a solutions-based approach to many of my sessions so that change can occur fairly quickly. In addition, I use cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT). As a former therapist at the VA, I'm also trained in trauma. Above all else, I see our ability to connect as essential to therapeutic improvement.
