Life brings many changes like relationship changes, a move, grief and loss, a job change, an illness, etc. Counseling can be a helpful outlet for individuals to process feelings related to recent changes in their life.
I have worked with Women for over 20 years that have emotional stress related to anxiety , depression, addiction, parenting issues, chronic illness, infertility, menopause and relationship issues. I see many women who are struggling with wearing so many hats these days i.e. working, parenting children, trying to maintain a relationship with their spouse, taking care of a parent, maintaining friendships, etc.
I create a warm Client Centered approach to therapy that incorporates a multi modal approach that is based on the issues the client wants to address and their ultimate goals for therapy. I work with the client to develop a treatment plan that incorporates goals and treatment modalities that line up with the clients desired outcome for therapy.
