I work with young adults who are going through the challenges of transitioning into adulthood. I enjoy providing support to teens and young adults as they navigate emotional and behavioral struggles. I have experience working with individuals on the Autism spectrum, people with anxiety, trauma history, and depression.
My Background and Approach
As a therapist I work from a strength based lens and believe that the client is always the expert on their own experience. I greatly enjoy getting to know the individuals I work with and supporting them as they identify their own strengths and develop skills for getting through difficult times and emotions. In therapy I incorporate cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, mindfulness, and attachment theory.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe we are all the expert on our own lives but sometimes need a safe space to process and reflect. I am not here to give you answers or quick fixes but rather to help you process past hurts and learn skills for managing future ones. I am also here to support you in developing strong healthy boundaries within you relationships.
