About My Clients
Seeking help can be a challenge in itself, but you do not have to do it alone. I am here to walk along side you as we work to (re)connect you with your strengths, passions, and healthy life habits. Many clients often come into session feeling lost, disconnected, frustrated, and even a bit nervous. You will be met with compassion, support, safety, and accountability in sessions with me. I look forward to helping you develop tools that will help you achieve your goals to live your best life.
My Background and Approach
No two clients are alike, therefore my approach is not one size fits all. I value your uniqueness and diverse needs. As a clinician I draw from many different models of therapy and interventions. I am creative in finding approaches that will work for each individual client whether you prefer traditional talk therapy, handouts, being in nature, journal prompts, mindfulness practices, vision boards, books to read between sessions, trauma informed yoga, art, etc. we will find tools that work for you! As an adjunct faculty member I have a passion for teaching and mentoring. This passion guided me to become a supervisor for student and state level interns to help support growing professionals in the field of therapy. In addition to supervising interns, I also do private practice consulting and coaching for up and coming therapists exploring private practice.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy should be accessible to all who are interested. I believe in economic justice and decolonized practices which has lead me to offer a limited amount of pro bono, low fee, and sliding scale services within my practice. I also believe in gender affirming access to medical care. I provide affordable appointments based on your individual needs and prioritize you having your letter in hand on the same day as your assessment!
