About My Clients
Difficult or abusive relationships leave us feeling anxious, depressed, and unsure of ourselves. You might be fed up with feeling triggered, on-edge, stuck, or like your past is interfering with your life today. You might feel guilty you're not able to show up in your relationships the way you'd like. You might not even remember a time things didn’t feel this way. But one thing is certain: you’re ready for some relief, ready to heal, and ready to enjoy your relationships and your life again.
My Background and Approach
For more than a decade I've worked with survivors of physical abuse, sexual abuse, emotional abuse, neglect, relationship violence, and other trauma. Clients come to me looking for a therapist who can help them experience relief, because therapy should be a place where you feel you're growing and healing. I often work with people who are insightful and have been in therapy before, but still feel stuck or bothered by their past experiences. Together, we’ll use evidence-based methods to help you move forward and start feeling better. And we'll always go at your pace, never pushing to a place you don’t feel ready to be.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I advocate for equity and operate from an anti-racist and anti-oppression framework. Your participation and input are vital parts of our work together. I won’t tell you what to do, but will help you clarify your goals, values and options, so you feel confident in your decisions. I’ll support your ability to intentionally build a life you enjoy. As an experienced trauma therapist, I believe that healing is possible. You don’t have to continue feeling anxious or stuck, and you don’t have to do it alone. Call me today or visit my website for a free consultation. I can’t wait to hear from you.
