I am passionate about working with adolescents and adults who are struggling with anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and difficulty adjusting to life changes such as school, divorce, grief, and relationship issues. I am also passionate about working with disordered eating and eating disorder clients utilizing the HAES framework.I offer a safe and nonjudgemental space that provides support to all individuals including the LGBTQIA+ community. Working from an attachment-based and holistic lens, I work to address my client's current needs while also discovering the past and understanding where these patterns stem from.
My hopes are to work collaboratively with you to understand and overcome the past, identify goals for the future, and learn effective coping strategies that build resilience and confidence in your day-to-day life.I hope to empower my clients to create healthy communication within their relationships, gain a greater sense of self, and know their worth.
I believe that change isn't linear, but is possible. I believe that we are capable of growing and making change in our lives when we are provided a trusting and safe environment that allows us the space to understand our fears and unhealed trauma. From my own experience with generational traumas and anxiety, I have learned that having courage to ask for help has helped me become my most authentic self and has led me to desire the same experience for my clients. I offer an inclusive space that provides allyship to the LGBTQIA+ community and support marginalized individuals who have experienced systematically oppressed survivors. My goal as a therapist is to provide my hand in help to anyone who needs its. Please check out The Couch Therapy website to set up a free 15 minute consultation. I look forward to working with you
