About My Clients
I work with adults, teens, and children who may be feeling... -depressed, lonely, isolated -anxious, worried, jealous -trapped or controlled by trauma responses -unable to live as authentically as they would like -dissatisfied with relationships, work/school, or life in general -stuck or unable to take the next step
My Background and Approach
My approach to therapy is gentle, collaborative, strength-based and focused on what is alive in you from moment to moment. I think of therapy as an experience of accompanied solitude: my goal is to build a warm and trusting relationship within which my clients have the space to safety explore their internal worlds. A typical session with me may include some combination of dialogue, visualization, experiential/somatic exercises and role plays, art, and play. Together we'll discover what works best for you. I draw on existential and process therapy models as well as Nonviolent Communication in my trauma-informed work. My degree in Counseling Psychology is from Santa Clara University. I have completed a 35-hour training in Experiential Therapy, as well as trainings in trauma treatment, neurodiversity, and extensive trainings in Nonviolent Communication.
