About My Clients
Do you struggle with anxiety? Wonder if you are good enough or if you are letting others down? I support my clients in learning to reduce their anxiety symptoms, identify and process their emotions, and build coping skills that work, so they can gain more confidence.
My Background and Approach
I completed my Master degree in Clinical Counseling at University of San Francisco with honors. I returned to graduate school to pursue this career after working 16 years in the corporate healthcare system. My education focused on trauma informed psychotherapy using evidence-based practices while centering client’s own goals, unique needs and intersectionality. My training and experience include serving populations that experience anxiety, depression, trauma, childhood neglect, and sexual assault at Verity, Child Parent Institute, and Seneca Family of Agencies. My approach includes Emotional Focused Therapy, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Attachment, and Humanistic.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
You deserve to be heard. Through genuine non-judgemental listening, I hold space for my clients to be seen, believed, supported, and heard. I have witnessed years of shame based thinking melt away once we can genuinely connect through compassionate psychotherapy.
