About My Clients
As, a professional you have been searching for a therapist who can comprehend your history, offer assistance, and support you through your healing journey concerning the matters of your heart. Depression and/or anxiety as a result of feeling like, no escape from the repetition, the same events with different people again and again. You consistently show up for others yet find it challenging to do the same for yourself. You place the needs of others above your own, yet only you notice it.
My Background and Approach
For the past ten-plus years I have been focused on supporting clients challenged with discerning effective and positive decision-making skills daily in their personal and professional lives. I specialize in the use of Cognitive Behavior therapy better known as CBT, for depression, anxiety, stress management, and Christian Values. Together, we can discover your strengths, and what you hold dear in life, enhance communication in relationships, learn to trust God, and find joy throughout the journey. Also, as a person-centered therapist, I will utilize techniques most appropriate for the client sitting in front of me. This could allow you to identify your authentic self, change and replace negative thoughts with behaviors that support a positive change of behavior, and develop an optimistic thought process about life and living. Learn what it feels like to not live with a surviving victim mindset of your past, yesterday, five years ago, or even as far ago as your childhood years.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As, a therapist who has a Christian therapist, I believe that therapy is one of those essential investments of your lifetime. It's a big decision to be vulnerable before a stranger and share secrets of personal and family hurt and pain. We often believe that sharing our secrets protects us, those close or not so close to us from the perceived threat of public embarrassment, guilt, shame, or another public disgrace, before another human being. It is challenging to make changes in our lives, but necessary if a change is what you desire in your life. Therapy requires a personal commitment, to invest your time and money toward finding joy on a mental health wellness journey. There are no guarantees, as with any investment, but with consistency, and trusting God during the process, you can get a return on your investment that could be life-changing in ways you only ever dreamed about.
