About My Clients
Tommy has years of experience working with couples, college students, pregnant women and individuals. Tommy has had the privilege of helping a decade of clients find heling and hope through therapy. Tommy allows his clients to be the driver and he sees himself as the co-pilot helping his clients find their path with him helping the client discover tools and self discovery along the way!
My Background and Approach
He is a first generation student and started his education by receiving a GED. He also went on to receive his Bachelors of Social Work from the University of Mississippi and his Masters of Social Work from the University of Alabama. Then also obtained his clinical license in 2017. He currently holds certifications in Trauma focused therapy, Cognitive behavior therapy, rational emotive behavior therapy , trauma approached therapy, Gottmans couples therapy, EMDR and PMDO. He specializes in working with couples and individuals navigating life changes. He also supervises counselors and therapist working towards licensure. In his free time he enjoys hiking, reading, and is an avid football fan.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Tommy Delbridge resides in Tennessee with his wife of 25 years and three adult daughter and 3 grandsons. Tommy used to be the director of foster care with the United Methodist Church and the site supervisor of a faith based non-profit therapy center. He is also a licensed minister, for over ten years, with the United Pentecostal church and serves his local congregation as the family pastor. He has served both the church and communities in different roles over the years.
