Are you struggling with managing stress, anxiety, depression, or low self esteem? Perhaps you are feeling overwhelmed, stuck or emotionally exhausted. You want to feel better but don't know where to start. My experience includes helping individuals of all ages navigate through strong emotions and life changes. I utilize a client centered and strength based approach to help you identify and challenge negative thought patterns, increase positive coping skills, and strengthen self-awareness.
My Background and Approach
I have over a decade of experience helping adults, children and teens navigate through strong emotions and life changes. My approach is eclectic, strength based and client centered. I believe that my client is the expert in her own life and I provide guidance and support in the process. I use aspects of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Attachment Based techniques to fit your needs. I enjoy working with women of all ages, through life transitions such as relocating, careers, exploring relationships, parenting, and navigating family dynamics. I have specific training and experience working with children and caregivers. I particularly enjoy working with mothers as they navigate the challenges of balancing motherhood and the rest of life. I provide a safe, non-judgmental space where we can explore areas of growth and change together. I aim to help you shift perspective, discover your own strengths and unlock your true inner potential.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that everyone has a right to quality health care, including mental health. My hope is to end the stigma of mental health and make counseling accessible to all who seek it. As a bilingual and bicultural therapist, I also understand the impact of culture and language on accessing and accepting mental health support.
