About My Clients
We welcome and cherish your puzzles, and stories of heartache, harm, and trauma. We seek to hold your story with utmost kindness. We consider it a sacred privilege to journey with adult survivors seeking restoration for what's been stolen. Our focus is young professionals, and it's a delight to work with any adult who has a deep desire to courageously engage their story of heartache. We offer online counseling in Washington State. We regret that we do not bill insurance.
My Background and Approach
Often we can’t put a finger on where our depression, anxiety, anger, fear, lack of confidence, feeling disconnected or having lost ourselves came from. We are a collection of our experiences and how we have navigated through them. Our philosophy is that everything about who we are began somewhere (whether we know that beginning, or are searching for it), and that these beginnings hold the answers we seek about ourselves and the keys to the healing we hunger for. Our treatment style is narrative focused and our therapist, Cresaya E. Kingsbury, M.A. LMHCA is pursuing certification in Narrative Focused Trauma Care from The Allender Center. Cresaya E. Kingsbury is certified in Narrative Focused Trauma Care, and received her master's degree in counseling psychology in 2018. Her work is also informed by 9 years working with with adults and children who have suffered acquired and traumatic brain injuries in another field of work.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
In her personal time, Cresaya E. Kingsbury can be found hiking, traveling, gardening, and reading. She passionately believes in international humanitarian work, and feels the suffering of refugees deeply.
