About My Clients
Accepting new clients. Do you find yourself constantly avoiding experiences, even though they are important to you? Difficulty with controlling thoughts and behaviors that take you away from who you want to be? I have worked in different roles in community mental health services for 8 years and these experiences are all too common in our world today, as we are hardwired and have learned to avoid difficult thoughts, feelings, and emotions.
My Background and Approach
As an ACT therapist my goal is to help you allow difficult and painful experiences to be instead of avoiding them, so can you move towards the values you hold most dear and the person you want to be. I am trained in several other modalities including EMDR to help client’s process traumatic events, and compassion focused to help client's develop compassion for their struggles. My is hope is to give you the skills and knowledge to live a full and meaningful life. I have gone through multiple trainings for treating trauma, and I also have trainings in working with codependency and narcissistic abuse. I am passionate in working with adults with trauma, depression, anxiety, and codependency.
