About My Clients
My experience includes working with various mental health issues, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, family conflict, domestic violence, emotional disturbances, immigration trauma, and acculturation struggles. I have worked with different populations: children in schools, adolescents, adults, adults on parole/probation, and immigrant families.
My Background and Approach
I believe that therapy is most beneficial when it is curated to each individual client. I utilize an integrative and client-centered approach. I think it's important to get to know you and what your needs are in order to develop measurable and attainable treatment goals. The relationship between a you and I (client and therapist) is a partnership and I want you to feel empowered to implement the changes you want to see.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My upbringing and life experiences spotlighted for me the importance of inclusivity, understanding, listening, and support. Being an immigrant myself, I understand the importance of being culturally-sensitive to others’ experiences and learning more about them from their perspectives. My core values of honesty and dependability help create a strong foundation of unbiased support for my clients.
