About My Clients
Navigating change can be complex, as your thoughts may trigger a lack of control. You are in a season of adjustment. Anxiety, whether from social expectations or outside pressures, can feel daunting. Your self-image might be skewed, making it difficult to accept compliments from others. The separation you experienced may have led to bouts of depression, might have led you to use avoidance as a coping strategy, and you are concerned for the children; you are looking to grow self.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a Latina clinician, I want to break the stigma of therapy. Our mental health is vital for a good quality of life. I do not believe that there is a limit to human capacity. Our external factors along with our own unhealthy learned and acquired behavior limit our ability to see things from a different set of lenses. As a child, I struggled with low self-esteem and endured bullying and verbal abuse, as an adolescent and young adult I struggled with suicidal ideation and anxiety. As an adult, I experienced a miscarriage which led to bouts of depression. I walked into most of those rabbit holes because I did not have a sense of self, I lacked self-awareness, self-perception, and self-love. The awareness, esteem, and self-love that I have for myself took years of work. I want everyone to experience that love and freedom. I believe that therapy can work for anyone even if in your culture it is not deemed acceptable or necessary. If you want to learn more, contact me.
