About My Clients

I work with a wide range of emotional and behavioral issues that span from self-esteem issues, stress management, personal growth, life transitions, cross-cultural issues, anxiety, trauma, parenting, and family counseling. I work with young and middle aged adults who are going through life transitions, dealing with difficult coping mechanisms such as anxiety, want to process past traumas, and heal past generational traumas in order to become the best versions of themselves.

My Background and Approach

I use a variety of tools, approaches, and lived experiences to support my clients. I am a first-generation Mexican immigrant and have worked extensively with first and second generation Latinx immigrants. I also have experience working with other communities of color and use cultural attunement in order to provide clients with the best support. I use a mix of therapeutic approaches when working with clients including psychodynamic, family systems, attachment-based, cognitive behavior therapy, mindfulness, and existential therapy. If needed, I provide tools right away to address the most urgent issues while encouraging processing the root cause.
