Being human is often tough. Sometimes we lose our way and can feel stuck and overwhelmed. Sometimes we would like to change parts of our lives or ourselves but don’t know how. Therapy can be an empowering way to promote healing, growth, and wellness. Often, we initially seek treatment to address a specific concern and then begin to uncover other areas of our lives in which we want to make meaningful change. My goal is for this process to feel supportive, affirming, and appropriately challenging.
Sometimes we need an advocate, an ally, and an encourager on our journey toward healing and wellness. Whether you are struggling with life after a trauma, adjusting to your new role, or navigating a new phase in life, therapy can be a valuable tool to start thriving today. We can work together to process your experiences & let go of the judgement, pressures, and negative impact from the past. It's time to start moving towards healing, self-empowerment, and living free in the present moment.
I use a client-centered approach. I work with depression, anxiety, trauma, and low self-esteem. I am trained in EMDR and parts and memory therapy. I meet my clients where you are on your journey, and we will develop a plan to set goals. I will provide support to help you make the changes you want to improve and help you identify your strengths.
The clients that I tend to work with the most are those that have experienced trauma, whether it is an event specific trauma or cummulative. I work closely with you to explore pathways that are supportive, adventurous, and growth-filled. Many of those I work with have a history of narcissistic abuse (parental and/or relationship), diagnosed ADD, PTSD and Complex PTSD, and trauma/grief history. I also specialize working with individuals with DID.
I specialize in couples therapy as well as individual and trauma informed therapy. Are you having conflict in your relationship? I am skilled in recovering from difficult love relationships and healing current love relationships. Additionally, I specialize in figuring out what you want if you are not sure whether to stay or go in your relationship. I work with individuals to heal from trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, unhealed wounds from past traumas and relationships.
