Whether you're an adult managing the stress of work or relationships, a teen navigating the trials of growing up, or a child trying to make sense of big emotions, life can be difficult! Everyone can use a helping hand sometimes and that's why I'm here. I've had the pleasure of working with children, their families, and individuals for over 10 years. Together we'll develop goals specific to your needs and identify individualized tools and strategies to help you achieve them.
This path isn't just a career choice for me; it's a calling that stems from my professional dedication and personal experiences. My heart is deeply connected to the brave individuals in our community - our first responders and military. I also have unique life experiences with endometriosis, infertility, chronic illness, anger management, OCD, substance use, sobriety, relationship concerns, divorce, and ADHD.
As a therapist with ADHD and autistic symptoms, I can help you identify and create systems that will give you the structure you need to thrive. I have had many struggles throughout my life being neurodivergent and have a unique perspective on how to reframe and work with our needs rather than against them.
Being human is often tough. Sometimes we lose our way and can feel stuck and overwhelmed. Sometimes we would like to change parts of our lives or ourselves but don’t know how. Therapy can be an empowering way to promote healing, growth, and wellness. Often, we initially seek treatment to address a specific concern and then begin to uncover other areas of our lives in which we want to make meaningful change. My goal is for this process to feel supportive, affirming, and appropriately challenging.

If you’re ADHD, autistic, gifted, “twice exceptional,” or otherwise neurodivergent, you’ve got a specialized, high-performance brain. When you’re doing something you love, everything just works. It's the rest of life that's incredibly stressful. We experience higher rates of depression, anxiety, trauma, school refusal, substance abuse--you name it. But, it's not a deficit in you. It's minority stress. Let's work on changing your environment to fit your brain, not the other way around.
Many of my clients have experienced previous life experiences that were difficult and still cause problems in their everyday life. The clients I work with may seek to work through those experiences to reduce their symptoms or even make sense of those moments. Many of the children I work with are struggling with behaviors that are hard for adults to understand and parents who just want to help their children feel better.
Relationships never start off difficult. Most of the time we begin hopeful and excited. Because of our own expectations, experience, hurts and what some might call "baggage", things can get messy. Research tells us that most people wait 6 years to seek therapy from when their relationship begins being difficult, this can make navigating a way out very difficult because wounds have compounded. I am skilled at helping you sort that out and rebuild your relationship.

The only 'right' way is the way that works for you. Whether you strive for sobriety, aim to moderate, or use drugs or alcohol to cope with other struggles, I'm here to provide you with the help you deserve in a safe and supportive environment.
