With a liberation psychology lens, I welcome the opportunity to safely explore and work with all people regardless of social location. Together, we can work through your challenges and find a path to healing and growth. Therapy is a collaborative process, and I am here to support you every step of the way.
In my practice I work to help girls and women of all ages dealing with anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, self-exploration, self- silencing, codependency and other challenging relationship dynamics, as well as postpartum mood disorders and other experiences motherhood can bring.

Are you very good at "holding it together" but never giving yourself space to just be? Have you learned to avoid challenging emotions as a way of coping with them, but not to actually process? Do you find yourself tossing and turning at night as all those thoughts you've been holding at bay come flooding in? We can work on that. Anxiety, insomnia, trauma -- all of these have effective treatments that can help you take the space you need to actually heal.
I have opinions about therapy. I believe that folks living with cancer shouldn't be caged in the identity of "ill patients." I believe that BIPOC folx deserve more than being acknowledged in a footnote. And I believe that end of life needs to be stigma-free and is something worth talking about. Expertise needs to be earned. I may have spent time honing my skills, but you have far more experience living your life. We are fellow experts. Let's work together in service of your wellness.
My clients are: couples, parents, families and individuals. Fulfillment is the very thing that achievement and money cannot buy. It allows us to live longer and with greater satisfaction. Relationships are vital. Most of all how we relate to ourselves. If past trauma, anxiety, or depression are interfering, then we can build the skills and internal resources to help.
I work with people that are struggling with painful experiences from their past and want to heal trauma. My clients often identify as women, trans or non-binary, bi-cultural or BIPOC. Many are intellectuals, activists, creatives and the like—some for whom traditional talk therapy has not been successful. I will work collaboratively with you to understand your instincts and process unresolved stuff in you nervous system so you can feel satisfied in your life.
My clients tend to struggle with feeling stuck, overwhelmed by their thoughts and feelings, and trouble communicating regarding needs. Often they have trouble sleeping or unwinding or have pressures of being "perfect". They may also be afraid to take chances, be genuine in relationships, and seek out opportunities and sex they deserve. I enjoy working with those struggling with issues related anxiety, trauma, am LGTQI affirming, sex positive.

You may be struggling with much anxiety, irritability, have difficulties creating meaningful connections, feeling burned out, maybe history of challenging relationship with parent(s), or you may notice much dissatisfaction in life. My clients are ready to dive into deeper work of uncovering and shifting deep-seated patterns, to heal their on-going anxiety, relational wounding, and/or trauma (whether little "t" or big "T"), and learn to stand grounded in their confidence, in peace.
I support adults through times of life transitions. I offer multimodal strategies for adult clients struggling with career optimization, in many cases due to (undiagnosed) ADHD based performance issues. Clinical specialties include: adult ADHD and Executive Functioning Coaching, perfectionism and shame resilience, codependency, imposter syndrome, relationship issues, communication problems, low self-esteem, grief and loss, parent coaching, self-regulation, anger management, anxiety & depression.
Would you like to spend less time explaining to and educating your therapist about your cultural background and experience so you can focus on your main concerns? Perhaps you want to work on understanding yourself better, developing and nurturing healthy relationships, feeling more confident about yourself, figuring out major life decisions, or living a more fulfilling life. I will help you explore these issues while understanding how your sociocultural experiences have impacted you.
