With my clients, I enjoy weaving through moments of healing insight and moments of intentional growth while honoring our changing needs and overall goals.
The populations I serve are individuals - teens, young adults and adults under 40 facing grief/bereavement/loss, body image, self-esteem, self-reflection, women's obstacles, anxiety, adjustment and difficult life changes/decisions. My ideal clients ultimately need someone in their life who listens to them, empowers them and believes they can do great things.
My specialties include motivational interviewing, mindfulness, sleep hygiene, cultural humility, LGBTQ+ affirming care, and consensual non-monogamy/sex-positive awareness. My ideal client would be a fat bodied individual who is looking to repair their relationship with food and their body. A client who is interested in seeking freedom from diet culture, and unpacking their fatphobia of themselves and how the world sees them. I work from an anti diet and HAES (health at every size) perspective. I also enjoy working with folks in improving communication skills, assertiveness and mindfulness and folks who need assistance in navigating non monogamous relationships

My clients want to find connection in their lives, but they are struggling to do so. I work with people who have found that other therapists don’t quite understand them. I am honored to be the open and non-judgmental professional they are seeking. My clients have faced stigma, limited family support, depression, anxiety or trauma while navigating the complexities of sexuality, gender and relationships. Some have lost important relationships due sexual urges or behaviors that feel out of control.
I specialize in individual and couple work and welcome the presence of partners and family members to enhance the therapeutic experience. Many of my clients are navigating life transitions, have experienced trauma, are trying to reinvigorate romantic relationships, or live with anxiety/depression. I am happy to work with humans from all backgrounds, but I am especially trying to make space for LGBTQ+ and gender-diverse folx, as well as the polyamorous & neurodiverse communities.
As someone who identifies as queer and polyamorous, I understand what challenges come with these identities. When practicing polamory, we are often unprepared for the difficulties that arise when living in a mononormative society. Together we can navigate if you or you and your partner(s) find yourselves with insecure attachment styles impacting your your relationship(s), are having difficulty managing boundaries, or need help dismantling couple's privlege.
Many of the people I work with feel haunted by their past and struggle to connect with people in the present. This can show up in overwhelming anxiety, procrastination, feeling down on themselves, communication and relationship issues. Many have difficulty with sleep and some struggle with the way they drink or use drugs. Our early work usually focuses on skill building and fostering awareness and insight into challenges before doing any more in-depth work.
