I believe therapy should be a safe space and focus on creating that for people who have experienced oppression and stigma. Anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship conflict, self esteem issues, body negativity, and negative thoughts touch all of our lives at some point, but there is always hope for healing. The populations I enjoy working with are LGBTQIA2s+, ethical non-monogamist, kink community, and spiritual trauma survivors.

Are you are realizing that the effects of past trauma, violence or abuse have left things a tangled mess? Are you struggling with how difficult experiences have affected your relationships? Or maybe you belong to a gender, sexual, or relationship minority (e.g., LGBTQ+, kink) and are looking for an affirming provider to support you through whatever life has brought you? I look forward to supporting you in gaining the knowledge and skills to navigate whatever stressors life has brought you.
Do you feel stuck? Disconnected from yourself and everyone around you? Hiding from everything because it feels too exhausting to do anything more than basic functioning? Are you taking care of everyone else and neglecting yourself? Do you worry about EVERYTHING and question every choice you make or thought you have? Do you feel overwhelmed, wondering if you’re good enough, or if you’ll finally be seen and accepted for who you are? I see you. You are not alone.
You’ve gone to therapy before, but nothing seems to stick. The things you’ve always done to cope aren’t working, but you can’t break free from those patterns no matter how hard you try. You have a hard time setting boundaries, advocating for yourself, and making the changes you want. You’re having memory issues and shutting down. You feel helpless, broken, and unacceptable. Your inner critic is loud and tough. You’re on edge all the time and exhausted. It's like you've been shattered to pieces.
I offer telehealth counseling services to diverse client populations experiencing a host of challenges. One of the primary populations I treat is young adults experiencing difficulty with major life transitions, relationships, and future-planning concerns. Additionally, I have enjoyed my work treating couples, especially those with a history of substance abuse in one or more partners. I'm proud to offer an inclusive space for clients regardless of identity or background.

Most of my work focuses on working with folks in the LGBTQIA spectrum to heal trauma, improve relationships, explore sex and develop a sense of wellbeing. During our initial sessions we will explore your life, your issues, and your goals to build a collaborative way forward. Throughout our work we will look to build insight and shine a light on all of the pieces that make you, you.
I sincerely believe that everyone’s spirituality, race, culture, gender, and sexual orientation must be valued because all remain as vital components that compose who we are. I am dedicated to helping members of the LGBTQ community who struggle with depression, anxiety, coming out, life transitions, HIV diagnosis, relationships, and social factors. I have also dedicated my life to helping those who suffer from addiction issues, including alcohol, drugs, sex, and gambling.
In my practice, I am dedicated to creating a supportive and transformative space for individuals who are grappling with the dual challenges of anxiety and depression. If you find yourself turning to habits that provide short-term relief but know deep down they contribute to a cycle of distress, I am here to guide you towards healthier strategies for managing your emotions.

You know yourself better than anyone else – even if it doesn’t seem like it yet. I help my clients to discover (or rediscover) themselves in meaningful ways. The tools are sometimes out-of-the-box (maybe a tarot card will help you work through that difficult thought process or better understand that dysfunctional relationship), evidenced-based, and always collaborative. We’ll laugh. You’ll probably cry – but you’ll definitely feel better.

Whether this is your first-time seeking therapy, or you have been before, it can be overwhelming to share your story with a new person. I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation so we can get to know each other and see if I am a good fit.
