I provide individual therapy to adults. I employ next layer healing with many of my clients, who have already had success utilizing therapeutic techniques to target specific symptoms. Despite this success and progress, they often still feel that something is out of alignment. Using an integrative and holistic approach, I help clients work towards a deeper layer of healing that gets to the root of judgments and negative messages they have received through the human experience.
I work with clients from all walks of life. Military, active and veterans, children starting at age 8, teenagers, young adults and adults. I am also LGBTQIA affirming. I have experience working with ASD, Depression, Anxiety and ADHD.
Substance Use concerns (this includes individuals who may not want life long abstinence but are interested in making changes in use such as moderation/sober curious), Substance use focus areas: Alcohol, Cocaine and other substances, Depression, Anxiety, ADHD, Life Stress/Transitions such as loss of job, loved one, relationships, just feeling overwhelmed in general with life, Grief and Loss and Life Habits/Patterns that lead to decreased personal well-being.
While I provide therapy to people from all walks of life, the goals I collaborate in developing with clients are mainly focused on: LGBTQ+ and their families, gender identity following the WPATH Standards of Care, grief and loss, relationship issues, sexuality, trauma, depression, anxiety, life transitions, addictions, HIV/AIDS, and spirituality. I work with adults, teens, couples, and families, including monogamous and polyamorous relationships, and alternative sexualities.
Being human is often tough. Sometimes we lose our way and can feel stuck and overwhelmed. Sometimes we would like to change parts of our lives or ourselves but don’t know how. Therapy can be an empowering way to promote healing, growth, and wellness. Often, we initially seek treatment to address a specific concern and then begin to uncover other areas of our lives in which we want to make meaningful change. My goal is for this process to feel supportive, affirming, and appropriately challenging.

I enjoy helping clients explore their life story and establish connections from their past with their current behavioral patterns. As we go through life, we often receive messages that having certain emotions are bad. When we experience hurt, rejection and/or abandonment especially as a result of trauma we often become overly focused on finding ways to prevent ourselves from experiencing pain. This often comes at a cost which can then often compound the pain we are feeling.
