Do you lay in bed thinking about everything that's gone wrong this week... Or, let's be honest, the past decade? Perhaps you've started to notice that your crappy moods are eating away at what little happiness you have left. The constant worry and self doubt are starting to make you feel like you're about to unravel. And even worse, it's negatively impacting your self worth and relationships. You might even think to yourself, "I'm a good person. Why can't I have a good day?!" You can.
Being human is often tough. Sometimes we lose our way and can feel stuck and overwhelmed. Sometimes we would like to change parts of our lives or ourselves but don’t know how. Therapy can be an empowering way to promote healing, growth, and wellness. Often, we initially seek treatment to address a specific concern and then begin to uncover other areas of our lives in which we want to make meaningful change. My goal is for this process to feel supportive, affirming, and appropriately challenging.

You deserve healing and happiness. You deserve a sense of well-being and meaning in your life. Have you spent too long in an endless cycle of feeling that you are not worthy? You don’t have to continue to experience the emotional and physical pain that comes with depression and anxiety. You don’t have to feel loneliness and distress caused from past experiences. You want to believe that change is possible. I am here to help. With support and encouragement, change IS possible.
I like working with clients who have reason to explore questions of who they are, including neurodivergent (autistic and ADHDers) and LGBTQIA+. Many people wonder why they seem so different from what's expected of them. They may feel alienated from their bodies or their own life experiences. Or, like any human, they may be transitioning into or out of a new or stressful phase of life. Together we would explore unmasking, identity, stress, anxiety, and build onto what's already working.
Are you feeling overwhelmed and stressed out? Are you a people pleaser struggling to find space for your own needs? Are you ready to explore, heal, and grow? Life can be tough, and reaching out for help is a brave step towards change. I love working long term with clients who are committed to building a therapeutic relationship that supports you through challenges and successes. I’m here to provide a safe and compassionate space where we tackle challenges together as a collaborative team.
Have you hit a wall? Do you feel like everything you have tried isn't working? Sometimes we get so overwhelmed by our situation that it's hard to fathom any solution. My role is to be the neutral party that can objectively look at your struggle and help you develop the tools you need to reach a resolution. My ideal clients reflect on our discussions between sessions, engage in behavior change, have a sense of humor, and are willing to do the work.
