I support clients in striving for emotional safety and authenticity—whether individually, as a family, or with romantic partners. I specialize in working with relationships, helping to dissolve distance or conflict while building a foundation of emotional closeness. Growing up as a “third culture kid,” I also have a particular interest in supporting first- or second-generation immigrants as they explore cultural attunement with themselves or their communities.

I specialize in working with individuals who have experienced trauma, including complex trauma, PTSD, and sexual violence. I also support those navigating depression, anxiety, mood disorders, and other mental health challenges. As a Queer clinician, I am passionate about working with the LGBTQIA2S+ community and provide gender care for TGNC+ individuals. My approach is trauma-informed, collaborative, and tailored to each person’s unique experience.
My emphases are addressing mental health of marginalized groups, and understanding how culture should be respected and acknowledged in the therapeutic space. As I continue to work on obtaining my doctorate in psychology, my interventions and approach to treatment informs me how to customize the therapeutic space for each client and praise our differences while promoting inner healing. Creating emotional space and showing the power of it helps my clients narrate their lives once more.
I help clients work through PTSD, anxiety, executive dysfunction, relationship struggles, family dynamics, self esteem, and kink and poly relationship issues. I like using warmth, compassion, curiosity, humor, and a lot of hand gestures to connect with my clients and establish a safe, trusting therapeutic relationship.

Being human is often tough. Sometimes we lose our way and can feel stuck and overwhelmed. Sometimes we would like to change parts of our lives or ourselves but don’t know how. Therapy can be an empowering way to promote healing, growth, and wellness. Often, we initially seek treatment to address a specific concern and then begin to uncover other areas of our lives in which we want to make meaningful change. My goal is for this process to feel supportive, affirming, and appropriately challenging.

Being human is messy and the relationships we have with ourselves and others can often feel even messier. However, you, through your lived experiences, have a significant amount of important data about what is working for you versus what is not. Together we can use that data and determine what variables have been supportive as well as what elements may need a revised approach.

In particular, I am passionate about working with LGBTQIA+ clients, especially gay men struggling to overcome internalized homophobia.
