I work with adults experiencing difficulty with anxiety and mood disorders. They want to step out of their comfort zone, use their thoughts and strengths to address life's changes and cultivate interpersonal resolutions. More importantly, they are willing to collaborate to bring healing and wellness into their lives. As a result, they are willing to do the work, offer themselves grace as they navigate life, and understand that change will take time.
My ideal client faces life stressors, transitions, anxiety, depression, or mood disorders. Their goal is to process symptoms, triggers, and trauma, build resiliency, and develop strategies for distress. They seek empathy, understanding, validation, and self-acceptance. They need knowledge about their symptoms and healing process, along with encouragement and humor to aid their journey.
I treat all types of anxiety (OCD, PTSD, panic, generalized, relationship stress, life transitions). I have extensive training in treating OCD and utilize ERP. Many times, other conditions co-occur with anxiety such as depression, ADHD, substance use disorder, borderline personality disorder, bipolar disorder and more. I often treat these conditions as well.
