Grief and loss are a part of the human condition. Grief is typically considered to be brought on by the death of a loved one, but can also be triggered by any significant life-altering loss (such as a divorce or the loss of a job). Grief is a natural response to loss, but that doesn’t make it easy to deal with. Symptoms of grief may include sadness, loneliness, anger, denial, depression and a myriad of other thoughts and feelings. There is no “normal” amount of time for grief to pass, but if you find that your grief is not improving over time or that it is interfering with your everyday life, you may want to consider seeking professional help. A qualified grief counselor can help you to cope with the physical, emotional, social, spiritual, and cognitive responses to loss. Reach out to one of TherapyDen’s grief experts today.
You want to appear successful but instead you feel: Consumed by an inner critic telling you that you aren’t good enough; disconnected from that part of you that’s always been confident; guilty for being angry at the people you care about; and worn out from feeling like you are letting other people down. Life doesn’t have to stay this way. Hi, I’m Dr. Rey Junco, and I can help.I provide trauma therapy using EMDR and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART).

I work with young adults and adults who are experiencing stress and anxiety. My goal is to help you stop getting caught in a spiral of distracting negative thoughts so that you can start being present in the here and now. Then you can more easily make choices that are consistent with your personal values and goals.
Online Therapy
My clients often struggle with depression, anxiety, life transitions, relationship issues, and recovery from addiction. I bring an open and warm presence to sessions, and I enjoy guiding people toward positive change and watching their lives flourish over time.

Clients who benefit from working with me have wanted to work on some aspect of themselves, like improving their sense of self worth, finding their own voice, trying to understand why their relationships typically don't work out, or simply just trying to cope with the day to day. I welcome all walks of life in my virtual office and work hard to continually check my biases, decolonize my practice, and reduce harmful language.

You feel like the black sheep of your family; like you never really fit anywhere. You feel like something is “off” but can’t quite put your finger on what is causing your discomfort. You may feel like you’re stuck in your past, unable to move forward and create the life you want. You’re tired of the same unsatisfying relationships that happen over and over again. You crave closeness with others but find it difficult to let people in. You worry about people leaving you.

Our 1:1 therapy container will offer you a safe and sacred space to be seen, heard, and supported. Together we will offer space for the parts of you that have been waiting; the parts that have held their voice when told they were too loud, the emotions that have been stuffed down when told they were too big. Together we will welcome and invite all parts of you home and help them to feel connected and seen again.
